How Much Does HubSpot Cost?

HubSpot provides a number of options and services designed to attract visitors, automate marketing tasks, convert leads, and close customers. This can have numerous benefits for organizations across a wide range of industries. By implementing a marketing automation solution like HubSpot, organizations are able to automate time-consuming tasks that enables marketers to work smarter and focus on revenue growth.

HubSpot marketing plans start at $200 a month and scale up from there depending upon the features your organization is looking for. If you are not familiar with all of the bells and whistles that HubSpot offers, consider taking a HubSpot audit to determine which package is right for your organization. .

HubSpot includes all the tools you need to build your customer base and grow your business. While you could use several different tools to complete the same task, managing several tools can be difficult and confusing. With HubSpot, everything you need is in one convenient location eliminating the need for disparate solutions saving your organization time and money.

Choosing the Right Plan

HubSpot offers three main packages: Basic, Professional, and Enterprise. While the features included with each of these packages vary, they all offer the following key modules:

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Content Management System (CMS)
  • Blogging platform
  • SEO tools
  • Analytics for social media, blogs, and website
  • Email marketing platform
  • Social media engagement tools
  • Audience list creation and management
  • Prospect identification
  • Lead tracking

The package you choose will depend on the unique needs of your company. While some features might work for your business, others may not. It’s up to you to determine what your needs and expectations of HubSpot will be.

Prior to choosing a plan, you’ll need to consider the details of your business. Take a look at how many clients you have and how many leads you plan to nurture over the next few months. Consider your website traffic and whether or not you’ve properly developed your digital advertising and SEO strategy.

HubSpot’s packages are formulated based on a company’s needs. Each package includes a number of features and tools designed to meet the needs of each stage of growth. Their pricing takes this into account.

Unfortunately, unless you have a good understanding of the various types of marketing tools, figuring out what you get for what you’re paying can be intimidating. We’ve broken it down below for your convenience.

The HubSpot CRM for small businesses is free. You heard that right, its FREE. Within the CRM offering, small businesses can enjoy up to 1,000,000 contacts, users, and storage. The CRM allows a small business to log sales activity automatically and gives the business a scalable platform that they can grow into. There is no expiration date so you can use the CRM as long as you want. This is a great way to get introduced to the marketing & sales automation tool without committing to overhead costs. If this sounds like an option for you, contact us and we can go over the benefits of this tool and assess if it is right for your organization.

The Basic Package is perfect for businesses looking to grow through inbound marketing. This package provides an opportunity to try out all of the modules offered by HubSpot, aside from the automation tools.

The Basic Package costs $200 a month and includes three user logins, with a maximum of 100 contacts. Additional contacts can be added at $100 for each 1,000 emails. This package has a 3,000 monthly visit limit, which can be confining, especially if you plan to invest in increasing your website traffic. But there are plenty of upgrade options for every organization.

The greatest benefit of the Basic package is the blogging platform and landing pages. These tools can be instrumental to the success of your inbound marketing efforts. The ability to create conversion landing pages on the fly without any coding knowledge is a great asset to any company (even the organizations with coders).

At $800 a month, the Professional Package gives you all of the same benefits of the Basic Package, with higher quotas and additional marketing features. This package includes unlimited users, and 1,000 contacts by default. Extra contacts can be purchased for an additional $50 for each 1,000. Don’t let the default amount scare you. An organization can save money by loading only the contacts that are potential clients, not the prospects that are not qualified.

With the Professional Package, there is absolutely no limit to the amount of traffic to your website. This package also offers a robust email marketing automation tool, marketing automation tools with customizable lead scoring rules, 3rd party integrations, and access to smart controls, which allow you to customize landing pages and calls-to-action based on your visitor’s unique profiles (extremely beneficial).

The Enterprise Package costs $2,400 a month and is designed to help larger businesses meet their marketing needs. This package includes all of the same features as the Professional Package with advanced reporting and A/B testing capabilities. This package includes 10,000 contacts. An additional 1,000 contacts can be purchased for only $10 extra. Before you consider the enterprise version of HubSpot, a company should conduct an HubSpot needs assessment audit of their needs to assess the right features and 3rd party integrations.

Onboarding Fees & Extra Services

In addition to your monthly fee, you can expect to pay an onboard fee to open your account. The on boarding fee is for the set-up and configuration of your HubSpot account. Onboard fees are as follows:

  • Basic – $600
  • Professional – $3,000
  • Enterprise – $5,000

On-site onboarding is also available for $20,000. If desired, HubSpot or a certified partner like Conversion Pipeline, will provide two days of intensive, in-person training.

HubSpot also offers additional services including technical support, custom campaign strategies, custom consulting, and classroom training. These services are available for additional fees.

While HubSpot’s pricing options might seem overwhelming at first, it becomes much easier to understand when you have a clear understanding of your company’s needs and requirements. Please contact us to find out how we can help with your marketing efforts.
